Onsite Foreman

We're looking for an onsite foreman to coordinate and supervise their team of crew members. The foreman will be responsible for training new workers and will work closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction work. They will also create and maintain construction schedules; hire, manage, and train staff; ensure construction equipment is properly maintained; and keep projects on schedule and within allotted budgets. 

Details:

  • Create and maintain a construction schedule with project goals in mind
  • Hire, train, supervise, and assign tasks to crew members
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed on construction sites
  • Consult regularly with property owners, tenants, and other major stakeholders
  • Ensure all construction projects stay on schedule, stay on budget, and are completed successfully
  • Calculate productivity rates and report project status to supervisors

Responsibilities Include:

  • Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
  • Create and manage schedules and monitor attendance of the crew
  • Oversee construction sites and supervise the use of machinery and equipment
  • Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers according to priorities and plans
  • Emphasize safe use of all tools and equipment and enforce the proper use of safety gear, like helmets and goggles
  • Manage employees to ensure the project is kept on schedule

Requirements  :

  • Must have a current Driver's License
  • Must have tools, vehicle and good references 
  • Must have experience in remodelling or home repair trades

What You’ll Do as a HVAC Tech:

Responsibilities include (not limited to) the following:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and cooling units for residential

  • Install furnaces, hot water tanks, tankless, heat pumps and/or AC
  • Service all of the above
  • Travel to job sites in agreed upon service area
  • Customer communication

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in installation and maintenance of water heaters, tankless, furnaces and/or AC and  heat pumps
  • G2 (Gas Technician license) and/or Refrigeration license (313A or D)
  • Have the  tools necessary for the installations

Licence/Certification:

  • TSSA (preferred)
  • Refrigeration licence (313A or D) (preferred)
  • G2 (Gas Technician license) (required)

Lead renovator

Lead Renovator: is a goal oriented self-starter who completes project tasks while leading the onsite team. Working closely with the Project Manager and clients, you are a key member who delivers demolition, framing, drywall, paint trim and finishes on the site.

Must haves:

  • Planning workloads and rotas
  • Delegating work to team members
  • Working to budgets and managing team finances efficiently
  • Briefing your team on targets and providing business updates
  • Monitoring team performance and carrying out appraisals
  • Ensuring work is completed on time, to a high standard and in line with health and safety guidelines
  • Taking on aspects of your team’s particular type of work, such as bricklaying, demolition, surveying or administration

Qualifications:

Licensed Electrician

We are looking for an experienced Electrician responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing wiring, electrical devices, electrical distribution equipment and associated electrical equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, wire diagrams, and complying with all current electrical codes. Job Requirements & Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical field with a 309 A Experience in the Construction and maintenance trade
  • Must be able to read and follow drawings/blueprints
  • Must have experience with conduit work such as PVC, EMT, RMC, and with the use of hydraulic benders and hand benders
  • Experience installing and wiring fire alarms
  • Experience with new consumer service installation and/or distribution equipment
  • Experience running jobs and delegating work as needed to complete jobs efficiently
  • A solid understanding of Electrical Codes
  • Must be a self-starter able to work under minimal supervision and in a team
  • Must maintain the highest degree of safety compliance above and beyond the current health and safety policies

Construction Project Manager - Part Time

We are looking for an experienced project manager who is responsible for managing a piece of work from start to finish and someone who can confidently motivate their team using the skills they already have.
